Fool
An ace burns a hole in my sleeve,
“Cheaters never prosper”
– but boy do they dry-bleed.
Yet I’m a fool who can’t be helped,
folding a hand I wasn’t dealt.
Revealing the trick to the dealer,
Equalized, a real fate self-sealer.
